Vibhava extended a helping hand with the aim of upgrading the artistic abilities of the followers. "Siththarek Samaga Siththamak" is one of the successful webinars held during the Covid outbreak via zoom on March 3rd, 2021. Veteran artist Lalith Gunasekara and gifted, young portrait designer Shamen Walker added colours to this event.

This immensely successful online event held via zoom, streamed live on Facebook and YouTube on February 2nd, 2021 with the presence of Veteran artists in Sri Lankan folk music arena. Most esteemed Mr. Rohana Baddage, Mr. Jananth Warakagoda, Mr. Sahan Ranwala and Mr. Saman Lenin coloured the event with their awe-inspiring performances and shared their experiences beyond price. A series of virtual entertainment events brought to online audiences via Zoom for the very first time in university history. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic moved all the members physically apart, these events made all their beloved hearts flock back together, while bringing many unseen aspects of art forms into the spotlight of discussion. The inaugural staging of "Dhwani" as the Orchestra of University of Peradeniya, happened in front of a massive gathering at WUS premises in January, 2020. Everyone in the audience sang their hearts out, to the enthralling beats and mesmerizing voices of prodigiously gifted young artists, full of the joys of spring. With all the blessings of well-wishers and true talents of the young undergraduates centralized into one place, this marked an unforgettable night for everyone.

With the purpose of cherishing upcoming artists and extending a helping hand towards the members to build up their own artworks and creations by providing all the required pecuniary and non-pecuniary support, this project has come a long way. It is an opportunity for all the undergraduates who are already involved or hoping to involve in artistic creations to receive feedback and new ideas on where to improve.

The annual Valentine's eve musical event was held for the very first time on February 12th, 2019 at "Polonnaruwa-UoP". This splendid evening was coloured by many lovely singing and dancing performances by the members, which attracted hundreds loving hearts in the University of Peradeniya.

Official unveiling of Vibhava magazine took place in November 2018 along with a ravishing puppet show presented by "Puppeteers of Lanka" with the blessings of many helping hands and good hearts. The aim of the show was to uplift plunging, yet precious artform - puppetry - in Sri Lanka.

A remarkable series of weekly online events, captivating thousands of audiences all around, streamed live on Facebook from 9th June to 14th July, 2021. This series of events focused on many untold aspects of Art and Culture with the presence of many veteran and admired artists and professionals in the relevant fields. Among the numerous series of events organized by the University of Peradeniya in the recent past, this was one of the most sucessfully organized. The events were as follows,
1. "Ranga Dhaara" - An insight into short films with artist Ishara Wickramasinghe and Senior Lecturer Dr. Priyantha Fonseka.
2. "Hadakin Hadakata" - A voice dubbing programme with veteran artist Lal Sarath Kumara
3. "Kadapathak Woo Thirapataya" - Movie review of "Funny Boy" - A film by Deepa Mehta, addressing ethnic and homosexual issues in Sri Lanka - with most acclaimed artists Visakesa Chandrasekaram and Brandon Ingram.
4. "Roopa Mawana Akuru" - A script writing event with popular artists Lakmal Dharmarathna and Kalana Gunasekara.
5. "Wes Roo Karaliya" - An insight into traditional Sri Lankan dramas - "Kolam" - with veteran artists Prof. Lionel Bentharage and Manoshika Wijesooriya.
6. "Huyak Aga Radi Thathu" - insight into local puppetry with traditional artist Supun Gamini.

Marking the long-awaited technology revolution in literature, Vibhava app was officially launched on October 24th, 2020 via zoom, fb-live and YouTube, concurrently with a discourse on art and technology with popular Sri Lankan music sensation Mr. Charitha Attalage. An art exhibition held regularly at the "Gemba canteen" premises, showcasing artistic abilities of the members - who have an extraordinary eye-pencil combination - to all the undergraduates of the university.

The extraordinary musical exposure in memory of the great lyricist and TV presenter Mr. Premakeerthi De Alwis, was recognized as the most successful event organized by Vibhava in 2020, which attracted a crowd of more than 4000 to Ediriweera Sarachchandra Open Air Theatre on 26th February 2020. As another step of "Sansparsha", this event was graced with the presence of popular singer Mr. Harshana Dissanayake and eminent tv and radio personality Mr. Indrasiri Suraweera, along with the family members of Mr. Premakeerthi De Alwis. "Lakhada" radio provided the media coverage for this event. The university orchestra "Dhwani" showcased its talents in this memorable evening. Watch on YouTube:

The outstanding stage play "Vidhi Virodhiya"-the most successful event organized by Vibhawa in 2019 - which was directed by popular artist Mr. Thumindu Dodanthenna (based on a short story by Prof. Liyanage Amarakeerthi) attracted nearly 4000 heads to Ediriweera Sarachchandra Open-Air Theatre. Recognized unique, the heart-to-heart exchange of views with the original artists and the audience drew the event to a close.

Opening doors to another whole new experience, the project "Sansparsha" took another step forward with the title "Thun Sith Dahana" - a book review with popular artist and writer, Mr. Kalana Gunasekara which also made the hearts of the audience twirl to the melodious tunes played and sung by most beloved singer Mr. Tharindu Damsara. The second volume of Vibhava Magazine was launched at the same evet.

Evenings filled with discussions among members, on various types of art forms and different artistic cultures, stimulating everyone's interest for art.

For the very first time in Sri Lanka, Vibhava introduced a meme competition for Sri Lankan undergraduates who are enthusiastic in meme making. Out of thousands of entries, winners were announced under the two categories creative and popular, giving away many exciting rewards. Representing the judge board, popular artists, Manitha Abeysiriwardena, Ravi Jay, Chinthana Dharmadasa and Dr. Janaka Wijayakulasooriya added lustre to the grand closing ceremony held on June 21st, 2021, via Zoom.

The annual Valentine's Day event of 2021, took a different face this time. As all young hearts could not be physically flocked together due to the pandemic, the talented members of Vibhava mixed their voices to a romantic, audio musical melodrama; providing the audience a brand-new experience. "Nurthi Sajje" was an online program organized with the motive of promoting enthusiasm towards Sri Lankan dramatical music, "nurthi" - a prominent division in Sinhalese culture. Mr. Rodney Warnakula, Mrs. Rathna Lalini and Mr. Nishshanka Diddeniya were among the veteran artists who joined hands with the program, which streamed live via zoom on July 19th, 2020. To break the hectic and monotonous regularity, Vibhava came up with a novel concept where the members write stanzas and replies to other fellow mates within a given time frame over WhatsApp.

The annual Valentine's eve musical event was held successfully for the second time in February, 2020 at the bank of campus tank. This splendid evening was coloured by many lovely performances by the members of the club and the orchestra "Dhwani", which attracted hundreds loving hearts in the University of Peradeniya. Before winding up the session, everyone bade farewell to the outgoing senior members of the club.

"Pothak ekka peyak" (evening programs) held regularly, have won the hearts of many young readers, aspiring them to write a masterpiece of their own. "Swarna Pusthaka Award" winning book; "Kurulu Hadawatha" by Professor Liyanage Amarakeerthi and the book recommended for the final round of Swarna Pusthaka Award "Appachchi Ewith" were taken in to discussion on the very first day. Following that, many award-winning books came into the spotlight for these events.

"Kavikara Handaawa" has been one of the most beloved, regularly held sessions where all the members get together to appreciate, comment and share their ideas on poems written by young poets in the club. This is indeed a great opportunity for the budding poets to receive feedbacks on their poems, and to work on improving their skills and talents. Needless to say, these sessions strengthened the bond between members, while motivating everyone to engage in poetry. The recently held online sessions were attended by many poets who have gained much popularity over social media.

"Sunil Shantha Memorial Singing Competition" can be highlighted as one of the biggest attempts to uplift the fading local music. Sri Lankan students, who are interested in singing, as well as this great personality "Sunil Shantha", gathered in the E. O. E. Pereira Theatre to showcase their talents.
